The Selene Collection for Autumn/Winter 2019 will launch this August. We drew inspiration from tales of Greek Mythology; Gods and Goddesses, serpents and nymphs, the nemesis and the hero - characters that inspire and inhabit our modern world.

The palette draws on strong bold colours, from rich emerald green to fuchsia pink and lapis blue. With classic PJ and nightdress silhouettes, along with luxe robes and short and camisole sets in our signature luxe silk charmeuse, the season offers you perfect indoor lounging pieces with enough ready-to-wear value to enable a pairing with denim or cashmere for taking your PJs to the street.

Wanting to shoot this decadent, rich collection somewhere truly special, on a chilly January morning, we arrived at interiors bohemian free spirit Sera Hersham-Loftus’ atelier set within a stucco building in west London - all black ceilings, huge mirrors, velvet chairs and indoor gardens. Sera’s space was the perfect backdrop for our serpents and stripes - a retreat infused with a spirit of artistic reverie and eccentric beauty. Her style is all that is good about vintage and she has managed to create a space that could never be described as understated but feels and looks completely organic - like a home that has been built over years and years with special one-of-a-kind finds from travels and far-flung flea markets. A girl after our own heart….
