#robelife. A hashtag that embodies that delicious moment in a lux hotel room when you wrap yourself in something impossibly fluffy and fall onto a bed so impossibly perfect, you want to move in. Forever.

It appears that a number of designers are on board with the #robelife sentiment and, like us, prefer their robes in 100% silk (so much more chic) or at the very least, superbly laundered cotton. The Spring 2016 Ready-to-Wear runways were awash with upmarket robes (our favourites were seen at Givenchy, Thakoon and Public School) which means we are set to see them taking to the street. This has to be one of the most laid-back spring/summertime outerwear trends we have seen in years.

We wholeheartedly support you facing your public with a nonchalant, half-dressed, vibe.
